So it’s that time of the year again. The holidays are approaching and we are transitioning into the fall here in the midwest. People are moving indoors now looking to potentially start an exercise program.
I’ve had 2 consult this past week that have told me they want to wait until the New Year.
It’s October 20th.
Why not start now? Is there some magical thing that happens on January 1st?
It’s just another day. It may feel like a new beginning or the opportunity for one, but make no mistakes, it’s just another day.
Let’s just call it what it is, procrastination at its finest or it’s just a way out of committing financially.
If you aren’t willing to invest in your health today, will a few months change you?
I highly doubt it. Statistically speaking, New Year’s resolutions don’t work well overall.
Today is always the best time. Not Monday, next month, or the New Year.
Action takers win. They may fail a few times, but they’ll fall forward when held accountable and with a support system.
Don’t put anything off you start today. You’ll regret not starting sooner, trust me. You aren’t getting in better shape over the next few months. In fact, you’ll most likely be worse off after the holidays.
Both physically and financially.
What are you putting off? We all do it with different things. How can you do something different NOW?
