Squatting is one of the most important foundational movements. Not only is it a functional movement in Crossfit, but it is vital and natural to our being. Glutes and hamstrings play an important to the squat as well as good positioning of our torso. Without proper technique, we can not move forward with good movement. A good squat technique allows us to also grow weight on the bar as well. For example, box squats gives us a way to form proper positioning for not only the air squat, but the back/front squats as well.
