Stop Procrastinating, Start Doing.

In college I was the king of procrastination. I would literally write papers the night before they were due and often times the morning of. Eventually it caught up to me and I failed a few classes. I actually did really good for awhile, even getting some A’s on the papers I wrote the morning they were due.

The same thing happened to me in my early 20’s when I owned a lawn business. I would postpone a lawn here and there to the next day because I wanted to be done for the day. Eventually 1-2 turned into skipping entire days and having to do double time to get the jobs done. It halted the growth of the business.

You see, procrastination never pays off. When It comes to your fitness and health it even gets to the point of being irresponsible. During consults I ask people how important their health is on a scale from 1-10 and most people say 9-10, yet many still want to “Think About It.” I’ll follow up with leads that inquired and they don’t respond, even after they share their goals of wanting to lose 15-30lb.

What are people waiting for? What’s the hang up? Why are people putting off one of the most priceless things they have and are in control of? I’m speaking of their health. People are unhappy with how they look and feel, yet they put it off for months, even years, only to create a higher mountain to climb once they decide they are going to start.

The point is this: Start ASAP. The sooner you start, the sooner you will start looking and feeling better. Cut out all the lame excuses too. It’s not too expensive, it’s in your budget. You have the time. We waste hours on social media and spend money on useless crap every month. Myself included.

Your health is either important or it’s not. You just have to make the decision to do something about it. Stop procrastinating. Start doing:
