Tell me why you came in for Nutrition coaching?
I came in for help with finding the best life changes for myself. I knew exercise alone couldn’t help me become a stronger and healthier person.
What did you learn and change during our time together?
One of the biggest things I learned from Missy is that you don’t have to starve yourself to lose weight. Instead of eating under 1200 calories a day, I was told I can eat minimum 1600 which was actually harder to hit once I changed my eating habits. I also learned about different ingredients and how they can affect my health and what to look for when I’m meal prepping. Another thing that was important to learn was that fat is necessary (of course that is healthy fat).
Did you reach your goals with sustainable changes?
I have absolutely reached my goals and feel that they are sustainable. Even when we go out to eat, I know what to look for to ensure that I can continue success.
Would you recommend our Nutrition coaching to others?
If you haven’t taken this step, you may be wasting time. Both exercise and nutrition is vital for your overall health and wellbeing. Missy is excellent at educating you on nutrition and helping you to understand what works for your body. She was encouraging and has delicious recipes.
I started on July 3rd at Crossfit HSE. My beginning weight was 166.7 and 32.6% body fat. With just exercise I was down to 163lbs and 29.4% body fat. After one month with Missy, I was down to 153.3lbs and 25.5% body fat.
Nutrition definitely gave me a boost to have an overall weightless of 13.4lbs in just about 4 months! I have never been so committed or wanted to get out of bed early to work out, however the coaches and members make it so easy to want to work out and push myself. I’m thankful to have found this gym.
