Every year everyone that does CrossFit has the opportunity to participate in the CrossFit Open. Traditionally, every Thursday evening at 8pm for 5 weeks the workout is released. Everyone has from that moment until the upcoming Monday to do the workout and post their scores.
This year CrossFit Inc. has moved to 3 weeks of workouts. Nobody knows what this year is going to look like. More than likely, there will be a few workouts with 2 scores. Mere speculation, but I think that in order to get the best to the games, more than 3 scores are needed.
Should you do it? Yes. Everyone that does CrossFit should. It’s a great opportunity to test your fitness and see how far you’ve come each year. Our gym is having an intermural open this year as an in house competition and we will be having Friday night lights from 4pm-7pm 3 weeks in a row as a bit of a party for the athletes.
