Here are three things you can do today that require zero talent that will help you make a positive change in your life. These things are not easy to do every day (as I write this I am struggling with some of these things) but making an effort on the days that are hard is when it counts the most.
1) Show Up1 in 4 people go to the gym out of that only 33% of those people went to the gym more than 100 times per year (source: IHRSA). That means if you go to the gym more than 100 times per year you are part of only 8% of all Americans. Just show up.
2) π₯Ditch the negativity thing of it as a spring cleaning of negative energy in your life. People, objects, entertainment that all spark negative emotions just get rid of them. These things can infect your thoughts and drain your energy. Instead, surround yourself with things that make you feel energized.
3) Eliminate the nonessentials
Ainβt nobody gots time for that. Cut out anything you donβt want to do. Donβt want to do a favor for someone? Just politely say no. Stop going to birthday parties you donβt want to go to. Marie Kondo your to-do list. Once you start to try to do these things your brain will fight you with resistance because our brains donβt like change. Just know when that happens that youβre on the right path.
